What type of artwork file do you prefer?

Here at MTM, we offer a full artwork service, using the latest software to create your graphics. However, if you wish to supply your own artwork, this can speed up the process of your order.

Please see the following guidelines:

  • Vector files are our preference, either .ai / .cdr / .eps / .dxf or pdf.
  • Fonts should be converted to curves (outlines) or embedded.
  • If JPEG images are part of your design, these should be at least 300dpi and are only suitable for digital printing.
  • Line thickness should be a minimum of 0.5pt, or 0.2mm thick.
  • Graduations or Halftones are more suitable for digital printing, but a representation can be achieved on larger screenprint images.

We can also read Microsoft Publisher / Microsoft Office / SolidWorks / Excel, but are not able to use artwork images directly from these files as they are not usually suitable or in vector image type.

For language translations, please provide all translations in an editable Microsoft Word format. We can obtain translations on your behalf if required, charged at an additional cost.
